SMOKE FREE COMING MAY 1ST 2010

The State legislator's passed HB4377 in December signed by the Governor on the 18th. This bill mandates all public & private bars & clubs to be non smoking effective May 1st. I know this will upset several members, However this has been coming for better than 3 years. If you had opinions you should have been in contact with your representative during this time. As it stands we have NO!! option but to adhere to this new regulation. If other options become available The House Committee will review them as they come forth. We will expect every member to follow this new law when instituted. If a member is caught in violation of this they can be fined or worse suspended from the Social Quarters Privileges. We will post signage as required to remind every one of this new policy. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.

We still have calendar's available for you they cost $20.00 each. You purchase a calendar with a four digit number this is your number for the remainder of the year. Check this number with the evening draw of the Michigan daily four if it is your number you win $100.00 for that drawing. There are several $500.00 $1000.00 $1500.00 & a final drawing of $5000.00 on New years Eve. The proceeds from this are used to fund several things that the Michigan Moose Association sponsor each year. Your support is needed to keep these projects alive and well. Please help us today don't delay.

Saturday, February 13th @ 4:00pm Lakeside Lanes - Entry forms are available at the lodge. Cost will be $60.00 per team. This will include dinner after bowling at the lodge. Your dinner choices will be Steak & Shrimp or 1/2 Chicken & Shrimp this must be noted on your entry form. We will have a Valentine's Basket to Raffle plus 50/50's. We welcome you to the new Web pages of the South Haven Moose Family Center. This is our 1st wave of exciting things to come. As we go forward we will have our entire newsletter here for your benefit. We will also include State Association information you should know, as well as exciting things we are doing on an International level. This is a work in progress, I'm totally new to this format.
